LovingStresa: who we are

LovingStresa.com was launched during lockdown in 2020 following the idea of some people who, although not born in Stresa, love it and wish to make it a more attractive and contemporary destination.

In the summer of 2021, the idea became an actual project, with the goal of creating a point of reference for anyone wanting to visit Stresa and looking for information and suggestions on how to spend their days, either relaxing or enjoying some outdoor activities on the shores of Lake Maggiore or the surrounding hills.

We therefore began by creating a short and easy-to-read guide, dedicated to those who want to get to know Stresa and its territory, those who want to visit the area, even if for just a few days. We put together some useful information for visiting the most beautiful and characteristic places, with suggestions to help anyone to make the most of their holiday in Stresa. The next step was to publish some single-topic guides: for those who love water, the mountains, for rainy days, for choosing the best places for lunch and dinner, for art lovers, and much more. You can find our recommendations in our Magazine.

LovingStresa.com was also created to become a point of reference for those who run a restaurant or other attraction in Stresa or wish to rent out a holiday home, and desire to make themselves and what they can offer known to tourists.

We hope that LovingStresa.com will grow and become increasingly popular and useful for guests, tourists and residents. For this wish to be fulfilled, all that is needed is to love Stresa and get more and more people to appreciate it as much as it deserves.
