The Vibram Trail Mottarone 2025 returns on May 3-4, 2025, for a thrilling weekend of trail running in one of the most stunning natural settings in Northern Italy. Between Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, and the majestic Alps, this event offers six different races designed for athletes of all levels, from seasoned ultra-runners to beginners.

Six Distances for All Runners

The event features:

• 75 km – Vibram® Lollo Max…i Trail: 3,400 m elevation gain, a true challenge for expert runners.

• 36 + 39 km – Vibram® Lollo Max…i Trail Relay: A relay race with two stages (36 km and 39 km), perfect for sharing the challenge.

• 25 km – Vibram® 2 Comuni Trail Mottarone: 1,600 m elevation gain, a spectacular route crossing Baveno and Stresa.

• 25 km – 2 Comuni Trail Mottarone for Teams: Same distance, to be tackled in pairs, ideal for friends and partners.

• 15 km – Vibram® Mottyno Run: 550 m elevation gain, perfect for beginners or those who prefer a shorter race.

• 11 km – Vibram® Vertical Only Up: 1,500 m elevation gain, a vertical challenge for mountain lovers.

Event Program

📅 Saturday, May 3, 2025:

• 5:15 - 6:00 AM: Bib collection for 75 km and relay.

• 6:30 AM: Start of the 75 km and relay races.

• 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM: Bib collection for other distances at the Palazzo dei Congressi, Stresa.

• 4:00 PM: Start of the 15 km race.

📅 Sunday, May 4, 2025:

• 9:00 AM: Vertical Race start.

• 9:30 AM: Start of the 25 km races (individual and team).

Registration and Services

Registrations open on January 20, 2025, and close on April 30, 2025, or once spots are filled. A valid medical certificate is required.
